Teacher training programme set to launch at Culcheth High School

    The Warrington Road site will welcome its first cohort of postgraduate
    trainee teachers in 2020 as part of a new programme, lead by Jodie
    Lomax, Culcheth High School’s lead teacher of research, and Adam Brown,
    deputy head teacher.Teacher training for early years or nursery education



    Jodie said: "Culcheth High School will take a lead on the recruitment of
    the trainees with a view to grow our own staff base and the strength
    the field of teaching staff in the Warrington and Greater Manchester
    areas, so this is a fantastic opportunity for us and future teachers in
    the wider area.

    The programme has been made available by Alliance for Learning Teaching
    School and SCITT (School Centred Initial Teacher Training) at Bright
    Futures Educational Trust.



    Lisa Fathers, director of teaching school and partnerships at The
    Alliance for Learning, added: "We are very excited to be working with
    such a great network of teachers and look forward to the benefits this
    will bring to the wider SCITT through the increase of teaching, research
    and pedagogical expertise the Culcheth staff with be able to offer."
